Re-design of Wimbledonvisitor.com, a portal for Wimbledon in south west London that features improved accessibility, navigation and ease of social sharing.

British English Language Consultancy in Worthing

This has been a very exciting project to work on.  The Consultancy was hands-on during the design process, giving me a lot of information of how they envisaged the final website would work for their business.

I created the website using the WordPress platform and the professional theme used is uncluttered, has clear navigation and call to action buttons that lead to important sections of the website.

Visitors to the website can see how to contact the Consultancy, regardless of which page they are on, as there are full contact details at the foot of each page.

I added social share buttons to allow easy sharing of the website pages.  I also added social follow links leading to to the Consultancy various professional profiles.

Self Catering Wimbledon is a luxury studio right in the heart of Wimbledon.

The owner wanted a complete re-design of the website.  My brief was to make an eye catching design using a green Wimbledon colour palette that would complement the superb photographs on the website and truly reflect the excellent service offered.

I kept the navigation nice and simple and visitors can find any page within one click.  I also added a contrasting footer area that contains essential contact details and social sharing buttons.

The WordPress theme I used has a striking full width header image that immediately shows the desirability of this stunning studio.

I added a photo gallery with thumbnail click throughs to large images of the studio.

The result, I feel, is a website that looks great on both large and small smart phone screens.

When I was looking for a new website design, Andrzej was very helpful with his advice about design ideas and he was able to create a very attractive site that perfectly portrays my business ethos of providing a First Class Service to my customers.  Andrzej was able to sort out the search engine optimisation aspects and now my website shows on Page One of Google, for the service I offer.  I am very pleased with Andrzej’s on-going support and the very reasonable cost of setting the website up.

St Olave’s Church in Mitcham

St. Olave’s had a website in the “nineties” retro design style, which was not easy to maintain.  The church wanted a more modern looking design and it was important for them to have the ability to frequently and easily update content such as service times.  A requirement was for service times and contact information to be displayed on each page.  A “news” section was also needed, as was a facility for visitors to easily share the pages via social media.

I suggested a logo at the top left hand side, followed by a standard navigation bar, that would lead visitors to all the pages in one click.  A photograph of the High Altar was chosen as the header image throughout the website.

The font used is a clear sans serif typeface that is easy to read on both desktops and mobile phones.

I am delighted to wholeheartedly recommend Andrzej Rodziewicz to anyone looking to have an excellent, attractive, easy to maintain website.  I frequently receive comments of appreciation about the Website he designed for my Church.  At every stage during the set up process, he consulted and explained different options to ensure an excellent end result. Whether you are a business, a voluntary organisation, or a religious organisation, Andrzej is your man for websites!

There is a photo gallery with click-throughs to bigger images, which display in an attractive light-box setting.

I structured the website to have a blog page called News, where sermons uploaded by the vicar could be viewed.  I created a News feed on the website’s home page to shows the sermons.

For social sharing, I added Facebook, Twitter and email sharing buttons that enable website visitors to easily share individual pages.

Wimbledonvisitor.com is a portal for the Wimbledon area in south west London.  This is a large website that has tourist information for the Wimbledon area, as well as a local accommodation directory in which bed and breakfast advertisers are listed on a commercial basis.  There is a news section (or blog) which informs tourists and residents about events in the area.

I am the webmaster and editor at the Wimbledon Visitor website and created my own website (that’s the website you are looking at now), to show how I can promote your business.

My brief for this website was, as usual, a clear navigation structure leading to one click access to pages.  Lots of white space lead to an uncluttered and minimalistic look to the website.

Fonts throughout the website are large enough to display well on both desktop and mobile phone screens.

Social sharing is enabled by easy to use Facebook, Twitter and buttons.
